Project Description

Supported the installation and commissioning of custom aluminum processing machines shipped from Turkey to India. The goal was to ensure fast, reliable startup with localized control system tuning and on-site training.

Timeline

Completed in 3 weeks on-site, including post-installation support.

Background

The Turkish-built machines required control system adaptation to local Indian power standards and user expectations. The client needed bilingual HMI screens, reliable motor control, and precise safety configurations tailored for their team and facility layout.

Process

Preparation began off-site with localized PLC programming and HMI translation. Once deployed, on-site integration included electrical testing, VFD tuning, and soft-start calibration. The final stages involved staff training, safety validation, and remote monitoring setup to ensure long-term support and system stability.

Pre-Arrival Preparation

Adapted PLC software for local voltage standards and machine behavior. Translated HMIs and safety documentation.

On-Site Integration

Installed and tested VFD-controlled drives, implemented soft-start logic, and trained local staff in real-time.

Remote Monitoring Setup

Enabled remote diagnostic support via Ethernet connection and customized dashboards.

Solution

The successful on-site commissioning resulted in fully operational aluminum machinery adapted for the local environment. Custom PLC sequences, dual-language HMI panels, and a remote support framework ensured a smooth handover, rapid operator onboarding, and long-term operational confidence.

  • Language-optimized HMI panels (English + Local)

  • Tuned PLC sequences for specific material flow and tolerances

  • Setup of fail-safe stops, alarms, and energy optimization modes

Results

The international commissioning was completed within 3 weeks, with minimal post-deployment issues. Local staff quickly adapted to the system thanks to bilingual HMI interfaces and on-site training. Remote support access ensured continued system stability and client satisfaction.

  • Successful handover within 3 weeks

  • Minimal support calls post-commissioning

  • High client satisfaction and invitation for future collaboration
